Perry Creek Winery is located south of Placerville in the El Dorado appellation, east of Lake Tahoe in the picturesque Sierra Foothills. The El Dorado appellation is unique due to its high altitude, complex topography, and decomposed granite soils. El Dorado's mountain vineyards are cooled by elevation rather than costal influence, having the same cool nights and warm days.
Perry Creek Winery was established in 1995 and has been under new ownership since 2006 by Dieter Juergens. Along with our flagship Zinman brand, we produce our reserve Altitude 2401’ series and our ultra-premium Cobra series. Our reserve wines come from our 30 acre Fair Play Farms vineyards, as well as our 10 acre winery vineyard, both situated at 2400 feet
